CedarVenta is a non-commercial information project. We do not sell saunas or accessories, generate sales leads, run advertising, or accept payment to feature or rank any brand, retailer or installer. No company can pay to appear in, or influence, our guidance. If that ever changes — for example, if we add clearly labelled affiliate links — we will say so plainly on this page first.

How we produce guides

Each guide is researched against:

• Manufacturer documentation and installation manuals for the equipment involved
• Published principles from Canadian building and electrical codes and fire-safety guidance
• Established cold-climate building practice

We write for the general reader — a homeowner planning an outdoor sauna — while keeping the technical detail accurate and honest about its limits. Where a topic depends on specifics we can’t know (your soil, your equipment, your local code), we say so and direct you to the right authority rather than inventing a universal answer.

Accuracy and its limits

Our guides are general information, not project-specific engineering or legal advice. We deliberately avoid publishing universal clearance values, do-it-yourself electrical wiring steps, or exact prices, because these depend on certified equipment, local regulations and site conditions. Authorship and dates

Guides are published by the CedarVenta Editorial Team. We do not attribute articles to invented individuals, and we do not claim credentials, certifications or field experience we don’t hold. Each guide shows its original publication date. We may revise guides to improve accuracy or clarity; we don’t display a separate “last updated” date.
