Content Standards
Every guide on CedarVenta is written to a consistent set of standards. This page sets them out.
Our content is
- Original. We write our own guides. We don’t copy manufacturer manuals or other publishers, or rewrite one article by swapping in a different sauna type.
- Practical and specific. We aim to answer the real question directly, then give the reasoning and the trade-offs.
- Honest about limits. Where an answer depends on your site, equipment or local rules, we say so instead of inventing a one-size-fits-all number.
- Neutral. We compare options on their merits and don’t push a particular brand or retailer.
What we will not do
To keep guidance safe and trustworthy, we do not:
- Publish dangerous do-it-yourself electrical wiring instructions
- Publish universal clearance values for heaters or chimneys (these come from the certified system and manufacturer manual)
- Invent fictional engineers, electricians, builders, biographies, certifications or experience
- Fabricate standards, code requirements or test results
- Quote exact prices as if they were fixed — costs are given only as approximate ranges, with the factors that move them
- Make medical claims or present a sauna as a treatment for illness
- Use

When to consult a professional
For anything safety-critical or project-specific — electrical connection, structural design, clearances, permits and fire safety — we direct readers to the manufacturer’s instructions, local building and electrical codes, and a licensed electrician, qualified installer or structural engineer as appropriate.
